Kavat Vård offers residential care facilities for seniors with various specializations and profiles. Our operations are located in municipalities in Stockholm County that have implemented freedom of choice reforms.
We believe in individuals' right to choose and want to offer clear concepts, including animal & nature, hotel-style, all-inclusive, wellness, and/or language profiles.
Smedbyhof is located in Upplands Väsby. You can reach us by car with free parking, or by commuter train and bus. We have a garden profile and enjoy spending time outdoors. When possible, we organize activities in the garden. Therefore, it is important that you also appreciate outdoor activities.
We are a relatively small residential facility with a total of 40 places. This creates a family-like atmosphere where everyone helps out when needed. We are thoughtful and friendly—both our staff and residents thrive here because we create warmth and security.

We are now hiring a nursing assistant for our dementia unit at Smedbyhof in Upplands Väsby, 90% days, evenings, and every other weekend on a 4-week fixed schedule.
We are looking for someone who is positive, loves working with people, and is genuinely interested in getting to know those you care for. You are thoughtful and kind and want to make each day as good as possible for the elderly. You see collaboration as a strength, enjoy planning work with colleagues, and understand the importance of following routines and guidelines.
Responsibilities

In your role as a nursing assistant, you and your colleagues plan the workday based on the residents' individual needs and wishes. Creating a sense of home and a meaningful daily life for residents are important parts of the work.
Qualifications
We are looking for a nursing assistant with a protected professional title and experience working in elderly care. We place great emphasis on manner, communication, and interpersonal skills, so it is very important that you have excellent knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
All our documentation takes place in the SafeDoc journal system, so good computer skills/experience are necessary. If you have experience with Welfare, that is helpful since we will be changing journal systems.
