We are seeking new nursing assistants/care workers for Åkerbohemmet in Löttorp.
Åkerbohemmet is a special residential care facility located in Löttorp in northern Öland.
Åkerbohemmet has 32 places. Four units with capacity for eight people each, of which three units are residential facilities for people with dementia.
The focus is person-centered care where the elderly, relatives and loved ones feel at home in a welcoming environment, experience community and participation.
Our goal is to create security, well-being and trust by providing support in daily life. We want each individual to receive good care based on their needs and own wishes, surrounded by competent staff.
During 2026, a working time reduction project is running at Åkerbohemmet, which means you work 90% of full-time but receive 100% salary. The project aims at a better working environment and increased recovery through more sustainable working hours.

WORK TASKS
Care and support work in residential care. The tasks also include being a fixed care contact, establishing and following up care plans and documenting in the Life Care journal system, among other things.
You work in accordance with the Social Services Act (SoL), but also perform Health and Medical Care tasks (HSL assignments) following delegation from licensed staff.
Good conduct and approach are an important part of the work.
We work continuously with quality improvement.
Our guiding principles are security, respect and meaningfulness. Working hours are distributed across day, evening and weekends, and you have the opportunity to submit your own schedule proposals within given parameters.
Opportunity for weekend duty is available.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who are trained as a nursing assistant/care worker or have equivalent education and have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
We are looking for you who:
- have a genuine interest in working with people and can meet each individual based on their individual needs and wishes.
- have a rehabilitative approach
- take responsibility for your work tasks and take own initiative
- have the necessary IT skills, preferably in Life Care
Experience in dementia care, BPSD and care approaches is meriting.
Great importance is placed on personal suitability.
