As part of our continued development, we are now seeking a dedicated and confident nursing assistant who wants to contribute to our organization.
The position also includes, after adequate training, the ability to participate in work in the operating department before, during, and after surgical procedures. In the operating room, you are one of several team members caring for the patient. This gives you the opportunity to broaden your expertise and gain insight into the entire surgical care chain.
As a nursing assistant with us, you are an important part of patient-centered care.
You work closely with nurses, physicians, and other professionals and contribute to ensuring our patients receive safe and secure care before and after surgery.
Work tasks include, among other things:
patient-centered care
mobilization and nutrition
monitoring and observation of the patient's condition
blood sampling
wound care and dressing changes
preparations before and after surgical procedures
documentation and reporting
providing the patient with information, support, and reassurance during their hospital stay.
We work in a structured manner with the patient in focus. Since we are an organization in continuous development, there is also an opportunity to participate in improvement work and development of our methods.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who are trained as a nursing assistant and hold a protected professional title according to the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare's requirements. You have experience in healthcare and preferably in surgical or postoperative care.
Experience from acute care, surgery, obesity surgery, or other inpatient care is a merit.
You are fluent in Swedish in both speech and writing and feel confident in patient contact and documentation.
If you also master other languages, this is considered a merit.
As a person, you are dedicated, responsible, and thorough. You have a professional and respectful manner and enjoy working closely with both patients and colleagues. You are flexible, solution-oriented, and can prioritize when the pace is occasionally high.
