Habo is growing and so are we! Bra Liv Habo Health Center is part of the primary care chain Vårdcentralerna Bra Liv and provides primary care at 28 health centers within Region Jönköpings län. We collaborate within the chain through knowledge exchange, resources, and work together to ensure you can always reach us. Bra Liv Habo provides primary care in close collaboration with our nearest healthcare neighbors within Habo Municipality; home healthcare, elderly care, and family centers including child and maternity healthcare. Starting September 2026, we are taking over our own laboratory and are now seeking nursing assistants to complement the team launching the laboratory operations. The Role of Nursing Assistant As a nursing assistant, you play an important role in ensuring smooth reception operations to provide the best possible care to our patients. You will have a varied, stimulating, and diverse job with tasks including work in our own laboratory and reception duties. Work at the urgent care clinic may also be relevant. Tasks at the health center include independently monitoring vital parameters, ECG recordings, assisting with examinations, and ensuring that materials needed for patient care are available. This also includes your own reception duties, taking blood samples, and handling samples before they are sent by courier to the laboratory for analysis. You will also work as part of a team with a nurse and care for acute patients. The nursing assistant is also responsible for inventory and laundry. We are constantly working on development and improvement, and your competence and commitment will be a valuable resource for us and our patients. This is a permanent position at 100%. Start date by agreement. You work daytime hours, Monday – Friday. As a person, you should be able to work independently and with different professions. You will have varied work in a fast-paced environment with varying and routine tasks at a health center, where you receive both scheduled and unscheduled visits. You are someone who can work both independently and as part of a team. You have an interest in and feeling for multidisciplinary work. You are responsible and focused, organized and driven, while you also like to take initiative and embrace challenges. You feel confident in your professional role while being curious and wanting to develop the operations you work in. Your Profile A requirement is that you are a trained nursing assistant and have experience with reception work in primary care, laboratory operations, or urgent care work. You can handle different patients with different illnesses and moods. The work requires you to be self-directed and able to structure your own work with an understanding of the bigger picture.
