The Nursing Assistant Role The work is varied and care-intensive with a fast patient flow and significant personal responsibility. You will work with acutely ill patients. Your tasks include plaster casting, blood draws, EKG examinations, and catheter insertion. Other responsibilities include prioritizing patients at the emergency department together with nurses, as well as reception work involving patient registration and assessment. Your Future Workplace The Emergency Clinic handles, diagnoses, treats, and cares for patients with acute illnesses and injuries that cannot be managed in primary care. At Länssjukhuset Ryhov in Jönköping, there is an emergency department, an acute care ward, and an administrative unit that operate 24/7, year-round. At the emergency department, we have approximately 80 employees. We care for approximately 55,000 patients of all ages annually. Together, we are positive and spread joy to create a good work environment. Your Profile We are looking for you—a trained nursing assistant with several years of inpatient care experience. We would like to see experience from emergency operations. We believe you have excellent ability to remain calm in acute situations and enjoy variety in your work and rapid changes in work pace. In your work, you are independent and organize your tasks autonomously. You thrive on collaboration with colleagues and see it as a natural part of your day. As a person, you are self-aware and easily distinguish between the personal and professional. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.
