About the Workplace Backavik special housing is operated as an internal enterprise, which means that you as an employee and our residents have high participation and significant influence on the operations and their content. Residents are offered the opportunity to participate in various activities, such as taking part in recruitment or participating in team meetings consisting of a multidisciplinary work group. The focus of the internal enterprise is on resident well-being, employee job satisfaction, and a pleasant outdoor and indoor environment. Backavik consists of 40 apartments divided into three dementia-focused units and one somatic care unit. All our employees have completed training and certification in the Stjärnmärkt (Star-marked) model—person-centered care with high self-determination. As a new employee, you will also receive this training. We work continuously with BPSD, risk assessments, and follow-ups. Care coordinators are available to support you in your daily work. All residents should be given the opportunity to "live as long as they live" in safe and fulfilling ways. Therefore, great emphasis is placed on offering varied activities. Job Responsibilities At our facility, you will provide care and support services in accordance with the Social Services Act. You will support and motivate individuals in their daily lives through a responsive, flexible, salutogenic, and professional approach, where individual self-determination is the focus. Your work also includes serving as a primary contact person, developing care plans, carrying out prescriptions and delegated tasks from home healthcare, reporting, documenting in patient records, and reporting incidents as needed. At Backavik, you will also be part of an internal enterprise work group responsible for various areas: quality/scheduling, food/ordering, activities, and workplace well-being/design. Much of our collaborative development work takes place within these groups. We collaborate across the entire facility. Scheduling includes evening shifts and alternating weekend work. Qualifications You have training as a nursing assistant and are fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written. We are looking for someone who wants to help develop elderly care services. Working with people is both stimulating and enjoyable for you. You enjoy working in a team, are engaged and responsible, and feel comfortable working independently. We are seeking someone with good interpersonal skills and a professional approach. We would appreciate your curiosity and openness to new opportunities and your willingness to participate in development work. The ability to collaborate with colleagues, other professionals, and your supervisor is essential for a good work environment and positive outcomes for our residents! It is advantageous if you have several years of experience in elderly care and good computer skills.
