About the Unit
13th Security Battalion is an operative armed forces-wide military unit with high material and personnel availability that must be able to operate across the entire conflict spectrum. The Battalion's main task is to detect, clarify and counter security-threatening activities in the form of foreign intelligence gathering, crime, terrorism, sabotage and subversion directed against the Armed Forces' prioritized assets.
The Battalion operates preventively through security intelligence service and security protection-enhancing measures. Our vision is that 13th Security Battalion breaks the adversary's plausible deniability and creates conditions for the entire Armed Forces to meet every threat and tackle every challenge. We are now recruiting an Intelligence Assistant to the 315th Security Platoon
315th Security Platoon is part of 13th Security Battalion with its base at F 16 in Uppsala. The Platoon solves many different tasks within the framework of military security service with a focus on reconnaissance and intelligence gathering. As an Intelligence Assistant at 315th Security Platoon, you will be part of the platoon leadership and work both administratively and practically, in everyday operations as well as during deployment activities. You will continuously undergo training for the tasks you are expected to perform. The work involves service trips and periodically extended time away from home, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
Main Job Duties
Your tasks will include structured processing of gathered information, compilation and presentation of information from various sources and close cooperation with the intelligence function at 131st Security Squadron. There is also opportunity for further development and expanded tasks in adjacent areas.

REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
Completed military basic training
Driver's License B and military driving certificate
Good language comprehension and writing skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Office

The work tempo is periodically high, which requires stress resilience and endurance.
As an Intelligence Assistant, you should have the ability to understand and interpret texts as well as a very good ability to communicate clearly in writing and images. We are looking for someone with curiosity about understanding how things are connected and a drive to continue seeking information to create the most complete report. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.

Employment Form: According to agreement for GSS/K. The position is a time-limited employment of maximum eight years, with possibility of extension. Employment may begin with a six-month probationary period.

Work Location: Uppsala. Service trips to other locations may occur.
Working Hours: Primarily daytime. Evening and weekend duty may occur during exercise activities
