We are now looking for a junior doctor at the medical clinic at Norrtälje Hospital for a varied locum position where you follow the patient through the entire care chain – from the emergency department to the ward.
About the Position
As a junior doctor with us, you will get a developing and varied job within the field of internal medicine. You work both on the ward and at the emergency department, where you meet a broad spectrum of patients and get the opportunity to develop your clinical competence under the guidance of experienced colleagues.
The position involves work during day and evening shifts, both on weekdays and weekends, and also includes some ward rounds together with specialist doctors. You get an important role in daily patient work and the opportunity to gradually build up your independence in your professional role.

Your work tasks include, among other things:
Ward work at the internal medicine and to some extent geriatric ward
Work at the internal medicine emergency department during day and evening shifts
Participation in holiday ward rounds together with specialist doctors
Handling, investigation and follow-up of patients

About You
For this position you need:
Degree from medical education
It is a merit if you also have:
Swedish medical license after completed internship or trainee period
Experience of work within internal medicine
We are looking for someone who has good personal maturity and feels confident in your professional role, even when the work situation is varied and sometimes intensive. You are enterprising and take responsibility for your work and actively contribute to your own and the operation's development. You have good collaborative skills and appreciate working in a team together with different professions. Furthermore, you are empathetic and have a genuine interest in the patient's needs, which permeates your approach and way of working. You work in a structured way and have the ability to plan, prioritize and organize your work in an efficient manner.
