About the Business We are seeking a junior physician for the Medical Unit in Sollefteå. We are a smaller unit with proximity and short decision-making pathways. As a junior physician with us, you will have the opportunity for independent work under supervision. You will be part of the patient-focused team and handle tasks typical of ward work and primary on-call duty both day and night in the emergency department. Within Region Västernorrland, there are three local care areas: south, west, and north, where local collaboration takes place within/between municipalities, primary care, and specialist care. Together, we work to create an integrated care chain for growing patient groups with chronic conditions and multiple illnesses. In Sollefteå, there is a large selection of recreational activities. We can offer everything from skiing in winter to river rafting on the beautiful Ångermanälven in summer. We are now seeking two junior physicians for a six-month contract with the possibility of extension. The positions are full-time with start date by agreement. Responsibilities We offer you varied and stimulating work as a junior physician with a focus on good patient and family interactions. The role as junior physician involves typical junior physician work as well as the opportunity to serve as primary on-call staff during daytime and nighttime. The work is independent but with guidance from experienced colleagues. The position as junior physician is a great opportunity for you who want to grow and develop in your physician role.
