CTC is a full-service CRO (Clinical Research Organisation) with six own research clinics throughout Sweden, three of which are located in Uppsala. One of these is a so-called First-In-Human unit located at Akademiska sjukhuset where medicines are tested for the first time in humans. CTC conducts clinical drug trials in all therapeutic areas in both early and late phases of drug development. By conducting clinical studies in an innovative and quality-assured manner, we contribute to tomorrow's healthcare. We are now looking for a temporary physician who wants to develop within clinical research while gaining broad medical experience in a stimulating environment. About the Position This is a fixed-term temporary position of approximately 9 months with the possibility of extension depending on operational needs. As a physician, you will work closely with our clinical research doctors and other team members in multidisciplinary teams consisting of nurses, project managers, monitors, and other research personnel. CTC has six permanently employed physicians. In this role, you will receive structured training, participate in the group's regular meetings, and work under the supervision of experienced investigators. Responsibilities Your responsibilities include: · Conduct medical screening examinations of research participants, both healthy volunteers and patients with various types of diseases. · Inform research participants about studies and obtain participants' informed consent to participate in the studies. · Perform health examinations, assess laboratory tests, ECGs, and other medical examinations. · Participate in dosing of new medicines and exercise medical supervision of research participants. · Document study activities in accordance with applicable regulations (ICH-GCP, Patient Data Act, Health and Medical Services Act). · Contribute to quality and patient-safe implementation of our clinical studies. Additional Information Employment degree full-time or as agreed. A 9-month fixed-term employment applies. Work is scheduled during daytime 08:00-16:30 and involves no on-call duties. We prefer that you work full-time (100%) as it provides good continuity in studies and the opportunity to develop quickly in the role, but we are open to discussing a part-time arrangement.
