Children's and Women's Center (BKC) is a regional production unit within Region Östergötland (RÖ). Children's and Women's Center consists of four clinics with operations at all RÖ hospitals and smaller outpatient clinics throughout the region. BKC provides extensive regional and county healthcare services. The center has approximately 1,200 employees including physicians, nurses, midwives, nursing assistants, pediatric assistants, care administrators, and socio-therapeutic staff. BKC provides clinical training to approximately 200 students per year, including specialist and exchange students.

At H.K.H. Kronprinsessan Victorias Children's and Adolescent Hospital, children and adolescents aged 0-18 are cared for with both medical and surgical conditions. We provide county healthcare services and highly specialized regional and national healthcare in both inpatient and outpatient care. Our operations are located at Linköping University Hospital (inpatient, outpatient) and Motala Hospital (outpatient). Linköping is home to one of Sweden's 6 pediatric oncology centers. The pediatric oncology unit (BOND) consists of a ward, outpatient clinic, and day care. Here, in addition to children with oncological and hematological diseases, children with diabetes requiring inpatient care and children with neurosurgical conditions are treated. Collaboration between the different units at H.K.H. Kronprinsessan Victorias Children's and Adolescent Hospital is well-developed, and the unit also has expertise to care for children with other medical and care-related needs.

Job Description
We offer a position as a substitute junior physician for 6 months at the pediatric oncology unit (BOND) at the children's clinic. In your role as junior physician, you will work daytime under clinical supervision in both inpatient and outpatient care. You will have the opportunity to participate in emergency exercises and other internal training. During your employment with us, you will have a dedicated supervisor so that, if relevant in the future, you can credit this time toward potential specialist training (ST) in pediatrics and adolescent medicine.
About You
We are seeking a physician, preferably licensed. Since you work in constant dialogue with patients and colleagues, it is a requirement that you have very good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing.

We are seeking a substitute junior physician at 100%, 6 months starting November 1 or by agreement. Extension of the substitute position or conversion to an ST position may become relevant.
