About the Operation Do you want to help develop the primary care center of the future? Region Dalarna is transitioning to a future health and medical care system, Good and Close Care, with primary care as the hub. Vårdcentral Kvarnsveden is one of three publicly operated primary care centers in Borlänge, serving approximately 12,800 registered patients with around 50 employees. Teamwork, a good work environment, and high patient safety are at our core. We're now seeking a licensed physician who wants to work in an operation where we together develop primary care. Our goal is to create a sustainable workplace where the right expertise does the right things, where the team around the patient is strong, and where quality and continuity are natural parts of daily work. As a physician with us, you'll be a central part of a multiprofessional team consisting of doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, psychologists, and other professionals. Together, we work systematically to: provide safe, secure, and accessible care improve work environment and workflows strengthen continuity and quality in primary care We actively engage in improvement work and would welcome your contribution to developing future methods in primary care. Job Responsibilities As a locum physician with us, we offer you a challenging and varied position. The locum position extends through December 2027. The work is varied, involving patients of all ages and situations. You will work independently with outpatient care, including acute assessments and routine check-ups for conditions such as diabetes and hypertension. A physician is always available on-site for consultation. The physicians hold weekly collegial meetings and continuous training is regularly scheduled. Qualifications We're looking for someone who: is a licensed physician, or alternatively has knowledge of the Cosmic medical records system has completed your medical degree has fluent Swedish language skills in speech and writing (C1 level) has an interest in primary care It's advantageous if you have previous experience working at a primary care center or another outpatient clinic. You have strong communication skills and can collaborate with others while also working independently and making your own decisions. You have good empathetic ability, a professional approach, and excellent patient interaction skills. We place great importance on personal qualities.
