Maintenance Technician at Orthex in Tingsryd

Your Responsibilities As a Maintenance Technician, you play a central role in ensuring that Orthex machines, equipment, and production systems function effectively and safely. You will be part of an engaged maintenance team of approximately 10 people and work closely with production on both preventive and corrective maintenance as well as technical improvements. In this role you will, among other things: *Perform preventive maintenance to ensure high operational reliability *Troubleshoot and resolve operational disruptions in mechanical and electrical systems *Monitor and optimize machines and systems for safe and stable production *Participate in projects, installations, and technical improvement initiatives *Work actively with 5S and continuous improvements *Document completed maintenance work in the maintenance system *Liaise with suppliers and external contractors For the right person, there are good opportunities to develop within the organization and take the next step toward a role as Team Leader or Coordinator within maintenance operations. Your Profile We are looking for someone with technical education in, for example, electrical, automation, or industrial fields, or who has acquired equivalent competence through work experience. You have at least three years of experience with maintenance work in the manufacturing industry and thrive in a senior, self-directed role where you take personal responsibility for planning, prioritizing, and driving your work forward. We would like to see that you have: *Strong knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics *Understanding of electrical systems, electrical theory, as well as control and regulation technology *Experience with or interest in automation and robotics *Ability to read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic drawings as well as technical documentation *Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance in an industrial environment *Good computer skills and experience working with maintenance management systems *Excellent Swedish language skills, both spoken and written *Basic English language skills To succeed in this role, you are a responsible and solution-oriented person with a strong interest in technology. You work in a structured and thorough manner, have good analytical abilities, and enjoy identifying and solving problems. You are a team player who collaborates well with others, while at the same time feeling comfortable taking your own initiative when needed. It is a merit if you have previous experience as a team leader, with responsibility for daily management, planning, and prioritization of work orders.
