Uniflex is now seeking an experienced and responsible maintenance technician for an upcoming assignment in the Gothenburg area. Here you will have the opportunity to work in a production environment where you will play a vital role in ensuring the operation and development of the company's machinery.
About the Position:
As a maintenance technician, you will work both operatively and preventatively with maintenance, troubleshooting, and development of production equipment. The role involves handling acute operational disruptions while contributing to long-term and structured improvement work.
To thrive in this role, you need a good understanding of electrical systems, machine electronics, and mechanics. You have experience reading electrical schematics, troubleshooting equipment, and performing repairs as well as replacing components in machines and production equipment. You don't need to be a trained electrician, but you have a technical interest and good practical understanding of how electrical and mechanical systems work.
The role involves close collaboration with colleagues in production and technical departments, which requires strong teamwork skills while being able to work independently and take personal responsibility.
Work may be scheduled during daytime or two-shift rotation (alternating weeks between daytime and evening shifts) depending on the assignment.
The position may be filled before the application deadline.
Responsibilities:
Troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance of machines and production equipment
Planning and prioritizing your own work tasks
Participation in improvement and development work
Replacement of machine parts and electrical components
Interpretation of electrical schematics and troubleshooting in machine electronics
Welding and repair work as needed
Fetching materials and equipment as needed
What We're Looking For:
Experience with maintenance work in a production or industrial environment
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, mechanics, and troubleshooting
Ability to read and understand electrical schematics
Experience with electronics or relevant technical training
Welding experience is a plus
Good computer skills, preferably experience with maintenance management systems
Class B driver's license
Strong Swedish language skills, both spoken and written
