What you'll be doing As a maintenance mechanic, you're responsible for keeping our facility operational through both emergency interventions and long-term preventive maintenance. You work on troubleshooting, repairs, and servicing of production equipment, conveyors, pumps, motors, and other process equipment. An important part of the role is developing and improving our preventive maintenance work. You plan and document service interventions, participate in maintenance shutdowns and improvement projects, and actively work to prevent operational disruptions. The role also includes spare parts management, ordering materials, and coordinating with external suppliers and contractors as needed. You work closely with production and operations staff in daily work and become an important part of the facility's continued development. The work involves both independent responsibility and close collaboration with colleagues. You're based at Gyllebo Gödning AB in Malmö and report to the Operations Manager. What you need to succeed and thrive You have: Technical education in mechanics, industrial maintenance, or equivalent work experience. Several years of experience with maintenance work in industry, process industry, or similar operations. Good knowledge of mechanics and hydraulics, and preferably experience with electrical systems, pneumatics, or control systems. Experience with troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance. Familiarity with documentation and administrative work related to maintenance. A driver's license. Good skills in Swedish, both spoken and written. Certification in Hot Work is a merit. Forklift and wheel loader licenses are merits. You are: Independent and responsible. Practically inclined and solution-oriented. Structured and thorough in your work.
