Responsibilities
You work proactively to prevent downtime through planned inspections and preventive maintenance. When something does break down, you're expected to quickly diagnose and perform repairs to minimize downtime. Mechanics and electrical work often go hand in hand. You'll therefore work closely with machine electricians to solve problems where the cause may lie at the boundary between hardware and control systems.
Acute troubleshooting and repair: Quickly diagnose and fix mechanical faults on processing machines to minimize production stops
Planned preventive maintenance: Perform periodic inspections, lubrication, and replacement of wear parts according to established maintenance schedules to ensure the machine park's longevity
Service, adjustment, repair, and replacement of parts and components to maintain the machines' high precision requirements
Work with drive and control systems: Maintain and repair hydraulic and pneumatic components such as cylinders, valve packages, and pumps
The machine park consists of around 100 machines, both older and more modern, and the work involves mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and electronics
The role also involves close collaboration with other departments. For example, working in close cooperation with machine electricians and production teams to solve complex problems where mechanics and electrical systems meet

Working hours: 2-shift, full-time with immediate start
Employment is permanent with a 6-month probationary period
IF Metall collective agreement
Qualifications
Several years of experience in mechanical maintenance of processing machines
Ability to read and understand hydraulic and pneumatic schematics/drawings
Experience working independently with troubleshooting
Upper secondary education in industrial technology or vocational higher education (YH) in maintenance technology, or equivalent experience
Fluent Swedish, spoken and written

Experience with, or knowledge of, machine manufacturers such as Okuma, Klingenberg, Gleason, Mazak, Pittler, Schmid
