AkzoNobel Adhesives has manufactured wood adhesives and resin systems in Kristinehamn since 1962. The products are used in, among other things, furniture manufacturing, carpentry, flooring, and load-bearing structures. In this role, you are an important part of our maintenance organization with a focus on creating long-term operational reliability in production. You have a holistic perspective on machine function and availability, and contribute both operatively and developmentally within maintenance work. The role involves close collaboration with colleagues in maintenance and other support functions to together ensure safe and efficient operations throughout the factory. Your main responsibilities · Troubleshooting & repair of technical equipment at the facility. · Preventive & corrective maintenance to ensure high operational reliability. · Perform maintenance and inspection of our steam production system. · Perform simple machine processing and mechanical construction work. · Administration and reporting in maintenance systems after completed service and troubleshooting. · On-call duty is included in the position The position is permanent full-time with immediate start. You are based at our site in Kristinehamn and report to the Mechanical Maintenance Manager. The role includes on-call duty every fifth week. Who are you? We are looking for someone with a three-year workshop technical education or equivalent work experience, together with experience in welding and basic computer skills. You thrive in a practical and technical role where you take responsibility and work in a structured manner with troubleshooting and problem-solving. Even when the pace is high, you maintain focus and act methodically. You enjoy collaborating with others, sharing your expertise with the team, and working with a clear focus on safety in everything you do. You have basic knowledge in welding, turning, and milling. You have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. It is an advantage if you also have: · Previous experience with troubleshooting and repairs in the process industry. · Some form of welding certification.
