As a maintenance mechanic, you'll become part of an experienced team of approximately 10–15 people and be responsible for maintaining the machinery in the machining department. The role involves broad mechanical responsibility where you work both preventively and reactively, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and operational reliability.
Your responsibilities:
Preventive and corrective maintenance of production equipment
Troubleshooting and repair of mechanical systems
Contribution to improvement work and technical projects
Documentation of completed work and machine status
About you
We're looking for someone who is positive, organized, and responsible—a mechanic with a genuine interest in maintenance work. You work methodically, are self-driven, and have a high focus on safety and quality. Collaboration and teamwork are important to you, while you're comfortable taking initiative and making decisions in your daily work. You are thorough, orderly, and have the ability to maintain a good pace even when there's a lot to do.
Required qualifications
Driver's license (category B) and access to a car
Good Swedish language skills, spoken and written
Good English language skills, spoken and written
Secondary education in maintenance technology, automotive mechanics, industrial technology, or equivalent
Work experience as a maintenance mechanic in industry
Ability to work independently and take responsibility for your work
Meritorious qualifications
Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
Welding experience
Experience with maintenance work on machining equipment or CNC machinery
Basic CNC knowledge
