Aalberts Surface Technologies AB is part of the international Aalberts Group with headquarters in the Netherlands. We specialize in heat treatment and assist customers in the automotive, workshop, and manufacturing industries.
Following a successful merger of our operations in Anderstorp and Värnamo, we now operate solely in Värnamo with approximately 40 employees. We are growing rapidly and investing for the future, and we are now seeking additional staff for both production and maintenance.
About the Position
As a maintenance technician, you play a key role in our operations. The maintenance department is responsible for ensuring that our production facilities, technical installations, and properties operate safely, efficiently, and with high availability.
Your work tasks include:
Troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing production equipment
Preventive maintenance according to maintenance plans
Maintenance of facility and technical installations
Contact with external suppliers and service partners
The position is full-time and based on day shifts. After an introduction period, on-call duty will be part of your role alongside your colleagues in the department, as our production operates around the clock.
Who Are You?
We believe you are a practical person who enjoys technology, mechanics, and problem-solving. You take responsibility, are proactive, and like to get things working. Experience in industrial maintenance is a merit, but we place great emphasis on personality, drive, and technical interest. If you have the right attitude, we will help you develop.
We would like to see that you:
Have a strong interest in technology
Have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing
Can understand and communicate in English, as the maintenance department has extensive contact with international suppliers, technical documentation, and colleagues within the group
Hold a category B driving license
Meritorious are experience in industrial maintenance, knowledge in electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic systems, and truck and overhead crane certifications.
