About the Job We are now looking for a maintenance engineer for our maintenance department who will serve as an expert in the area of supervision and inspection, and who will provide users with information, documentation, and training to ensure safe operations. In your future role as Maintenance Inspector, you will Ensure that the site's control and inspection activities within the operational area are conducted cost-effectively in a manner that meets regulatory requirements. The operational area includes static equipment, pressure vessels, tanks and pipes, lifting equipment, pressure testing, boilers, and other activities within the scope of FLT. You will work closely with maintenance engineers, technicians, and operators. Ensure that inspection and control plans for your area of responsibility are developed and followed up on. Be responsible for optimizing and developing inspection work, for example by seeking permits for extended inspection intervals or the use of new testing methods. Have the authority to establish control requirements in project activities. Be responsible for maintenance plans within the inspection & control area. Monitor changes in legislation and regulations in collaboration with the HSE department. Inform relevant personnel on site about changes. Participate in the review of designs and design documentation, as well as in the supervision of manufacturing/assembly. Actively participate in and drive improvement efforts within the inspection area, and lead and contribute to root cause analyses and investigations (RCPS). We believe you have Post-secondary education in, for example, mechanical engineering, operations, or equivalent relevant field Strong knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written It's good if you have Previous work experience in inspection (KIWA, inspection, etc.) Deep knowledge of AFS 2023:11 and AFS 2023:5 and other applicable regulations within the operational area.
