For our operations at a customer in the manufacturing industry in the Örebro region, we are now seeking a Maintenance Engineer with a focus on maintenance development.
About the Job
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will become part of a new organization focused on preventive maintenance and maintenance development. The role is development-oriented and involves working with analysis, problem-solving, and improvement of the customer's maintenance operations.
You will work closely with the customer's organization and other functions within Quant to identify improvement opportunities and drive activities that increase operational reliability and technical availability.
Examples of typical tasks:
Lead and participate in assignments to develop the customer's maintenance operations
Analyze productivity losses, incident history, and maintenance data
Conduct and lead root cause analyses (RCA)
Work with criticality and failure mode analysis as the foundation for maintenance strategies
Identify recurring problems and drive long-term corrective actions
Develop methods and approaches for preventive and condition-based maintenance
Participate as a maintenance specialist in changes and investments with a focus on operational reliability and maintainability
Drive improvement initiatives together with the customer's production and maintenance organization
The production environment includes, among other things, CNC machining, heat treatment, forging equipment, and automated production facilities.
About You
We are looking for someone with technical education in, for example, mechanical engineering, automation, maintenance, or equivalent. Alternatively, you have built up equivalent competence through experience.
You have experience from the manufacturing industry and a good understanding of industrial maintenance. Experience with, for example, RCA, FMEA, criticality analysis, condition-based maintenance, or analysis of maintenance data is a merit.
As a person, you are analytical, curious, and driven. You enjoy working independently but also have an easy way to collaborate and create engagement with others. You see opportunities for improvement and have the ability to translate analysis into practical results.
Your ability to communicate is important as the role involves close collaboration with the customer. A strong focus on safety is a given.
