On behalf of our client, we are currently seeking a Maintenance Engineer specializing in mechanical systems for a position in Stockholm. This is a full-time assignment expected to start on 2026-09-14 and run through 2027-01-31.
About the Assignment
As a maintenance engineer, you will primarily work with preventive maintenance through both in-house workshops and external suppliers. You will be responsible for planning preventive work on the mechanical side, including preventive, condition-based, and improvement maintenance.
In this role, you will drive work from start to completion. This includes prioritizing maintenance work to fit within your budget responsibility for both short and long-term periods, assisting with procurement of maintenance services, planning overhaul work, quality assurance, and updating the maintenance system.
The role requires you to work strategically, demonstrate progress, and find solutions together with other maintenance engineers, operations personnel, mechanics, the procurement department, and occupational safety functions. Together, you will work to maintain the facility safely and achieve established availability targets.
You will primarily be working with the maintenance of a pellet combustion boiler.

About You
We are looking for candidates who meet the following mandatory requirements:
Technical degree or equivalent education combined with relevant work experience in the role.
Experience working in maintenance and operations.
Knowledge of pressure equipment regulations.
It is advantageous if you also meet the following requirements:
Experience working at thermal power plants.
