Job Responsibilities The Maintenance Business Area is responsible for managing, maintaining, and developing Sweden's existing and future road and railway systems. We are now seeking a track maintenance engineer who, together with an engaged project team, wants to drive maintenance and improvement work in railway infrastructure within our maintenance contracts. In this role, you work closely with the project manager and project team, contributing your track technical expertise at operational, tactical, and strategic levels. You work in a consultative capacity on track technical matters, develop analyses, and participate in forecasting work, technical meetings, and procurement processes. You may also lead smaller projects and investigations. In this role, you will, among other things: analyze data and propose measures. You analyze and identify errors, deficiencies, and disruptions in railway infrastructure and suggest improvements to contribute to reliable operation. work with and develop digital working methods. You will have the opportunity to use and contribute to the development of new digital working methods in maintenance operations. follow up on contracts. You ensure that our contractor performs their work in accordance with applicable regulations and agreements. You enjoy the combination of working on-site in the infrastructure and monitoring and analysis in our systems. You communicate clearly and find it easy to build good collaborations with project managers, project teams, and contractors. You are secure and stable in your interactions with customers and other external parties. You also easily adapt to new technology and enjoy trying new working methods and digital tools.
