Do you want to lead and develop the technical operations at an airport where every function is critical to safety and accessibility? We are looking for a Maintenance Manager who takes overall responsibility for the operation and maintenance of the airport's facilities and infrastructure. What does the role entail? As Maintenance Manager, you are responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of infrastructure such as facilities, runway lighting systems, vehicle workshop, electrical/power supply, and ground surfaces. You are a central part of creating structure, direction, and results within the maintenance area and ensure that operations are conducted efficiently, safely, and sustainably in the long term. You have personnel and operational responsibility for a team of seven employees working in operational roles within operations and business specialist functions. In this role, you are responsible for: Planning, prioritizing, and following up on maintenance work Leading, developing, and coaching your team Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, standards, and internal guidelines Participating in and contributing to long-term development and capacity plans Responsible for technical inspection and documentation Responsible for cost tracking and maintenance budget Ensuring that operations are conducted from a quality, environmental, technical, safety, and economic perspective Who are you? We are looking for someone who has: Technical education or experience within facility operations and maintenance Good knowledge of technical systems and building management Documented experience of personnel responsibility and operational responsibility Experience with budget and planning work Ability to interpret technical documentation and work structurally with follow-up Meritorious is experience from the aviation sector or other technically advanced infrastructure The role involves close and continuous collaboration with both internal and external parties, which requires strong collaboration and cooperation skills.
