Learn more about us at www.nearyou.se Job Description We are now seeking service technicians for our customer companies in the Alingsås, Vårgårda, and Herrljunga regions. Are you a technically interested person who enjoys problem-solving and wants to work in a varied role close to production? This could be the right opportunity for you. As a service technician, you are responsible for ensuring that machines and production equipment operate efficiently and reliably. You work with both preventive and corrective maintenance and help identify and resolve technical problems to minimize downtime. Your work tasks may include: Troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of machines and production equipment Preventive maintenance to ensure stable production Installation and commissioning of new equipment Identification and correction of technical deviations Collaboration with production and other functions to optimize processes and equipment Documentation and follow-up of completed work You will become an important part of the operation and have the opportunity to work in a role where technology, problem-solving, and development are in focus. Qualifications We are looking for someone with a genuine technical interest and experience with maintenance work in industry, production, or similar activities. You have a good understanding of mechanics, electrical systems, automation, or other technical equipment and enjoy solving problems in a changing environment. To succeed in this role, we see that you: Have experience with troubleshooting, maintenance, or repair of machines and equipment Have technical education or equivalent work experience Can read and understand technical drawings and manuals Speak and write Swedish fluently Have a driver's license and access to a car As a person, you are responsible, solution-oriented, and thorough.
