Absol Rail is a signal company founded in 2019 and is now in an expansive phase where we are seeking additional technicians to expand our signal team. At Absol Rail, we are responsible for the operation and maintenance of the signal system on Tvärbanan, and we have several exciting projects ahead. The work tasks you will perform include installations, participation in commissioning as well as preventive maintenance and emergency troubleshooting of the signal system both in the field and in the technical building. Other tasks will consist of documentation, uploading checklists and similar. The opportunities for development are very good and the position is a permanent employment. Work is scheduled during day or night shifts where on-call duty from home occurs. We are looking for you who have: · Driver's license category B · Fluent Swedish and English in both speech and writing · Fulfilled health requirements (health examination conducted upon employment) · Previous experience in practical work, preferably in one of the following professions o Electrician o Installer o Mechanic o Optotechnician o Other similar profession It is meritorious if you have · Experience working on track/railway · Experience writing and reading documentation Personal qualities To become comfortable in this role, we are looking for someone who is good at working independently but at the same time is a team player with good communication. The window for being able to perform work on track is limited, and therefore you need to be proactive in your work approach and not be afraid to put in extra effort when needed. To deliver what we have promised to our customers, we also want you to be thorough and service-minded both out in the field and with the documentation provided to the customer.
