Norwegian-Speaking Customer Service Representative for International Operations in Umeå Are you fluent in Norwegian and enjoy helping people? We are now looking for a Norwegian-speaking customer service representative to join an engaged team in Umeå. Here you will work with the Norwegian market and be an important contact person for customers in insurance, technology, and other exciting industries. About the Role As a customer service representative, you are responsible for handling incoming customer inquiries via phone and email. You help customers with questions about products and services, order handling, administration, and various types of problem-solving. You will become part of an international and service-oriented organization where collaboration, engagement, and customer focus are at the center. The role offers great variety as you will work with several different assignments and industries, which gives you the opportunity to develop broad experience and valuable expertise in customer service. Your Responsibilities Provide professional service to customers in Norwegian and Swedish Answer incoming inquiries via phone and email Handle orders, complaints, and invoice inquiries Register and update customer information in business systems Perform administrative tasks related to customer matters Contribute to developing customer relationships and customer satisfaction Identify opportunities for upselling when relevant We are Looking for You Fluent in speaking and writing Norwegian Good knowledge of Swedish A genuine interest in service and customer contact Solution-oriented and responsible Comfortable working at a fast pace and handling multiple tasks simultaneously Good computer skills and quick at learning new systems Live in Umeå or surrounding area or have the ability to commute Experience in customer service, administration, or sales is a merit, but we place great emphasis on your personality and motivation. We Offer Full-time or part-time (50-100%) Working hours Monday-Friday Monthly salary: 24,923 kr Language allowance of 2,400 kr/month for Norwegian language skills Paid introduction and training Hybrid work after completed introduction Collective agreement and secure employment terms Ongoing coaching and development opportunities You will be employed by Barona and the assignment starts as soon as the recruitment process is complete. Initially, the assignment runs for 6 months with good opportunities for extension and transition to the client.
