About the Position Personal assistance is a service under the LSS (Act on Support and Services for Persons with Certain Disabilities). As a personal assistant, you will primarily help the client with everything that arises in daily life and with basic needs. Your work involves safeguarding the client's self-determination and integrity, and contributing to a smooth-running everyday life. Each assistance arrangement is uniquely tailored to the client's life, so work tasks may vary depending on the workplace. Who Are You? The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. We are therefore looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiative and see what needs to be done. To thrive as a personal assistant, it is important that there is good personal chemistry between you as an assistant and the client. We are looking for someone with enormous patience, attentive to non-verbal communication, and able to give the client 100% focus and attention. You are professional in difficult situations and work to create a calm environment. The client is a 15-year-old young woman living in Brandbergen. We are now looking for someone who meets the following: prior experience with challenging behavior low-affective approach experience with TAKK and visual supports Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. Working Hours, Employment Level, and Salary The current employment form is "hourly employment," which means work as needed with varying hours during day and evening, on both weekdays and weekends. Working Hours: Monday–Friday 08:00–18:45. Saturday or Sunday 10:00–17:00 or 18:00 Start date by agreement.
