At Haninge Municipality, you will work with interventions and methods that create real change and help individuals take steps toward work or studies. We are now seeking two committed social consultants who want to make a difference for individuals far from the job market and support them on their path toward increased independence and self-sufficiency. About Us The Employment Market Department is part of the Administration for Employment, Culture and Leisure and is responsible for the municipality's employment market initiatives. Through the Employment Center, coordinated support is offered with special focus on young people aged 15–21 and individuals receiving financial assistance. The operation actively works to develop and implement new working methods and evidence-based approaches to strengthen individuals' opportunities for work, studies, and self-sufficiency. A central part of the mission is to develop collaboration between different operations, administrations, and the business sector. Initiatives are designed based on the individual's needs, resources, and circumstances, with the goal of creating sustainable pathways to work, studies, and self-sufficiency. Your Assignment As a social consultant, you work with participants who have complex needs and varying life situations. The assignment is characterized by a structured approach focusing on mapping, investigation, follow-up, and documentation to create conditions for participants to take steps toward work, studies, or other relevant support based on their individual needs. You are part of an engaged team and collaborate with authorities, employers, and other actors to strengthen participants' opportunities to establish themselves in work or education. Through an individualized and motivating approach, you leverage participants' resources, strengthen their self-esteem, and promote their participation as active members of society. The work involves close contact with participants through both individual conversations and group activities. Together with colleagues, you contribute to creating a safe, inclusive, and developmental environment where each participant is given the opportunity to reach their full potential. Work Tasks Conduct mapping and social investigations of participants' needs, circumstances, and challenges Establish, follow up, and revise individual action plans Continuous documentation of high quality in accordance with applicable guidelines Collaborate and coordinate with authorities and other actors Motivate and support participants in their development process What We Are Looking For in You Higher education in work-related rehabilitation, social work degree, or equivalent Experience working with this target group and knowledge of methods such as Supported Employment and Case Management Strong ability to document, follow up, and write professional investigations and ensure high-quality documentation in accordance with applicable guidelines Engaged, attentive, and able to create trusting relationships with participants, colleagues, and collaboration partners Can work independently as well as in a team and take responsibility for driving processes forward Flexible and thrive in an operation characterized by development and change B-class driver's license Meritorious Experience with collaboration with the region, the Employment Agency, municipality, or other authorities and actors Experience with documentation systems and authority-adjacent work Personal Qualities We are looking for someone who is meticulous, structured, and analytical with a genuine interest in supporting people through change.
