Your New Job We are now seeking two teachers for grades 4-6 at Södergårdsskolan in Huskvarna. With us, you'll work with language-developing methods with a focus on language comprehension, vocabulary, and concepts. We also have collaborative teaching to provide the best instruction, with the aim of developing cooperation between teachers and activities to give students increased learning opportunities and equitable teaching where everyone focuses on identified developmental needs. We also emphasize accessible instruction and a learning environment that suits all students based on their individual needs and background. You will also be part of a teacher team led by a lead teacher to develop the team's teaching together. Right now we are implementing IBIS, inclusive behavior support in school, at our school. A preventive and structured approach aimed at creating a safe study environment, clear expectations, and a positive school climate. IBIS is based on the whole school working together with shared rules, positive reinforcement, and early interventions, so that students receive the right support in time and can succeed both socially and academically. You will be responsible for the pedagogical content of instruction based on the curriculum and other governing documents, which means you should be able to independently plan, conduct, and follow up on instruction. Of course, you will be part of a work team. You are committed to developing students' abilities, knowledge, and confidence in themselves. The school buildings were constructed in 1911 and 1921, carefully renovated and additionally certified as K-marked. It is advantageous if you have qualifications in Swedish as a second language. You have a good understanding of the primary school's mission and work securely based on the school's governing documents. If you have previous experience with instruction and working with students, we see that as a great asset. To succeed in the role, you need to have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as basic IT skills.
