The Procurement Unit is a central part of the Municipal Management Office and is based at Djursholm Castle. The unit is responsible for framework agreements and major strategic procurements within the construction sector. As a procurement specialist for construction projects, you will work mainly in close collaboration with the Community Development Administration. The unit currently consists of seven employees—procurement specialists, an administrator, and a contract controller—who work together to deliver business-like, sustainable, and value-creating deals. Here we work closely together, share knowledge, and have short decision-making paths. 2 position(s). DUTIES As a procurement specialist for construction projects, you are responsible for procuring construction works and technical consultants in areas such as parks and streets, water and sanitation, waste, and property. You plan and conduct procurements in close cooperation with subject matter experts from the Community Development Administration and lead the procurement process from start to finish. In this role, you function as a specialist and support operations based on their specific needs. The work includes both operational and framework agreements as well as individual projects. You contribute your expertise in the reference group and drive projects independently. You also work with market dialogue to leverage suppliers' specialist knowledge and ensure that our procurements meet both today's and tomorrow's needs. The Procurement Unit has a central role with both steering and supporting functions toward the operations. We are also responsible for conducting training in procurement to strengthen competence throughout the organization. As a procurement specialist with us, you are part of driving our continuous development work with the goal of making even better public deals that create value for all of Danderyd Municipality and its residents. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who have: • Relevant academic degree, for example in economics or law, or alternatively a vocational college degree in procurement/purchasing, preferably with a focus on construction. • Several years of experience independently conducting procurements within construction. • Good knowledge of the construction and engineering industry's general terms and conditions AB 04, ABT 06, ABK 09, ABFF/AFF, and AMA AF. • Good knowledge of the Act on Public Procurement (LOU). • Good knowledge of the MS Office suite, especially Excel. • Very good ability to express yourself orally and in writing in Swedish. It is a merit if you have: • Worked in Kommers. • Experience from a politically governed organization.
