Jelgavas novada pašvaldība announces a competition for the position of Tourism Information Center Director at the Central Administration Tourism and Entrepreneurship Department in Lielvircava Parish. Key Job Responsibilities: 1. Ensure reception of visitors to Lielvircava Manor and provide quality tourism services; 2. Lead tours at Lielvircava Manor and provide visitors with information about the manor, its history, and tourism offerings in the surrounding area; 3. Plan, organize, and coordinate public events at the manor – concerts, exhibitions, thematic events, Legend Night, manor festivals, etc.; 4. Maintain aesthetic design of manor spaces, exhibitions, and preserve and promote cultural heritage; 5. Plan budget for manor operations and events and monitor its execution; 6. Prepare information and promotional materials about the manor's offerings and events, including content for social media and other media outlets; 7. Keep visitor records for Lielvircava Manor, compile tourism statistics, and prepare reports. Requirements for Candidates: 1. Secondary or secondary professional education; 2. At least 1 year of practical work experience as a guide at cultural heritage sites and in visitor reception; 3. Strong communication skills, argumentation abilities, and engaging communication style with visitors; 4. Excellent Latvian language proficiency, good English language skills, and desirable knowledge of another foreign language (foreign language justification – communication with international tourists); 5. Computer skills – standard Office software package (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint). Documents to Submit: 1. Professional activity description (CV); 2. Copy of education certification document; 3.
