Saldus novada p/a "Saldus Tūrisma informācijas, kultūras un sporta centrs" (reg. no. 90002396732) invites a creative team to join as a TOURISM CONSULTANT on an indefinite basis. Requirements for candidates: • Higher education (including 1st level higher education) or currently enrolled in studies; • preferred experience working in tourism; • state language proficiency at advanced level, knowledge of two foreign languages at conversational level; • knowledge of Saldus novad's tourism offerings; • knowledge and understanding of marketing activities in the tourism industry; • excellent communication and collaboration skills; • excellent organizational abilities and ability to manage time rationally and make decisions; • ability to work independently, take initiative and responsibility; • proficiency with information technology, including social media operation and use of eSignature. Main responsibilities: • customer service at the Brocēni city Tourism Information Point; • promote awareness of Saldus novad's tourism offerings, Saldus novad municipality, and Saldus TIKS center; • organize tourism events and implement marketing activities, including preparation of tourism materials, website and social media content creation, participation in exhibitions and souvenir assortment planning; promote collaboration in the tourism field; • collect tourism information, develop new tourism offerings and routes; • participate in organizing events held by Saldus TIKS center.
