State Police Riga Regional Office Document Management and Coordination Bureau Interpreter Division Interpreter Occupation code - 264303 General job duties: Translate incoming and outgoing correspondence, substantial simple legal texts and documents, including procedural documents and video/audio recordings. Provide consecutive (non-simultaneous) interpretation of conversations and procedural activities in Lithuanian/Latvian/Lithuanian, English/Latvian/English language combinations. Maintain records and documentation of translated documents and consecutive interpretation services provided, report to the division manager on completed work. Participate in adult informal education and professional development activities to ensure ongoing professional development. Education and professional experience required for position: Higher education (at least bachelor's degree) Prior experience in legal document translation is desirable.
