Vacancy: Interpreter for the Security and Court Decisions Enforcement Division at Olaine Prison, 2643 03 Workload: full-time Salary: from 1295 EUR to 1950 EUR Work location: Rīgas iela 10, Olaine, Olaines Municipality, LV-2114 Contact information: 63023219; 67290148; [email protected] Submit CV and cover letter to: [email protected]; [email protected] Requirements for candidates: Higher education in humanities or social sciences, law with professional work experience in interpretation; Latvian language proficiency at level C1; Desirable practical work experience in office administration, Latvian-Russian and Russian-Latvian oral and written interpretation experience; Knowledge of legal terminology in Latvian and Russian; Health status and psychological characteristics meeting the requirements established by the Cabinet of Ministers (Cabinet of Ministers Regulations No. 219 of 10.03.2009 "Procedure for Mandatory Health Examination"); Very good computer skills (MS Word, MS Excel), ability to work with office equipment; Ability to plan and organize work, execute tasks in priority order; Ability to analyze large volumes of information and draw conclusions; Good communication skills, high psychological resilience; Ability to work both in a team and individually; High sense of responsibility, analytical thinking, ability to work in high-intensity conditions. Responsibilities: Perform oral and written translations between Latvian-Russian and Russian-Latvian languages as provided for in the Criminal Procedure Law; Organize receipt of oral and written translations from external service providers for persons with hearing disabilities, foreigners, and prisoners who are not foreigners but do not understand Latvian, as provided for in the Criminal Procedure Law; Receive and issue cash in strict accordance with established procedures and only for purposes specified in documents, enter cash receipt and expenditure orders in the resource management system "Horizon"; Issue personal money account cards to prisoners (for purchases in the store), entering them into the resource management system "Horizon".
