Therefore, we are investing in increasing adult presence in our corridors, common areas, and other shared spaces. We are now looking for you to help contribute to a safer school in Kungälvs kommun. Responsibilities As a Safety Supervisor, you are an important link between students and the school's other professionals, so the school can work with students from a holistic perspective. In your role, we expect you to possess personal maturity and confidence, be actively attentive, and have the ability to act based on needs and sometimes rapid changes. Creating good relationships with our students will be one of your primary tasks. Together with other staff, you work toward shared goals to promote safety, study environment, school attendance, and well-being for our students. Some documentation is part of the role. Qualifications We are now looking for you who: - Have several years of work experience and experience working with young people. - Have the ability to be a safe, clear, and responsible adult for students in their school environment. - Have good ability to create and maintain relationships. - Have the ability to collaborate with important partners for us at school, such as social services, police, and safe work environments. - Are engaged, flexible, analytical, and together with other staff take responsibility for achieving the school's goals, both short and long term. - Collaboration and straightforward communication are important qualities for you as a Safety Supervisor. - Are both creative and courageous, as you will meet many different people and situations that can involve sudden turns and require quick adaptation. We see that applicants have a background as a social pedagogue, behavioral scientist, leisure pedagogue, leisure leader, or other equivalent education. It is important that you are independent, see what needs to be done, and constantly safely uphold the values that the school stands for. Personal qualities are decisive. To succeed with the assignment, it is advantageous if you are already familiar with the school's operations and mission. Great weight will be placed on personal suitability.
