We are now looking for a reliable substitute caregiver who wants to work as needed with one of our younger clients in Karlstad.
Who am I?
I am a 3-year-old boy who lives with mom, dad, and our allergy-friendly dog in the eastern parts of Karlstad.
My functional variation means I need help with most things. This includes transfers, tube feeding, and stretching/training. Some of the assistive devices I use are a standing frame, a corset, and a PEP mask.
I am curious and discover new things all the time. Music, singing, and outdoor activities are some of my interests right now.
Here's what a day with me might look like:
Monday through Thursday I attend preschool with my assistant. There we have play, learning, rest, and training that fill the days.
It can also happen that we stay home some days depending on how I'm doing that day.
Who are you?
For this position, we are looking for you—a warm, reliable, and responsible person who has kept your childlike spirit. You are welcome to have previous experience working with children, and if you also have experience with epilepsy, that is a plus.
Otherwise, you are a positive and flexible person since work hours may change.
It is important that you have a good command of the Swedish language as you will be a support in communication with other people.

About the position:
Work hours are currently scheduled Monday–Thursday 8:45 AM–2:45 PM. Work hours may change over time as evenings and weekends may be added in the future.
Start date: immediate
