About the Client The client receives personal assistance during all waking hours and sleeping on-call at night. She attends school and day activities on weekdays and loves doing activities outside the home. She enjoys outings, fika (coffee breaks), meeting friends, horseback riding once a week, and swimming every other week. As an assistant, you accompany her on activities and provide support both at home and outside. It is therefore important that you enjoy being active together with others, are comfortable with animals and nature, are not allergic to horses, and are comfortable being with her in the bath. Work Tasks As a personal assistant, you help the client with most things in daily life, including: personal hygiene and intimate care dressing and undressing meal situations transfers/mobility assistance communication, as the client does not communicate verbally documentation and regular contact with colleagues, supervisor, and care contacts support at school, day activities, and recreational activities You work mainly alone with the client, except during shorter periods in connection with certain activities. Since the work involves helping the client with communication and documentation, it is very important that you speak and write Swedish fluently. Work Hours and Employment Level The position is a temporary contract for approximately 75% for an indefinite period, with the possibility of a permanent position in the future. Work hours are scheduled as follows: day shift 08:00–17:00 evening/night shift 17:00–08:00 24-hour shift 08:00–08:00 Night time is on-call/sleeping on-call time.
