Are you an experienced forklift operator who thrives with great responsibility, high safety awareness, and varied work tasks? Adecco is now seeking an engaged forklift operator for a long-term consulting assignment with Westinghouse in Västerås. At Westinghouse, you will be an important part of the logistics chain in an operation where quality, safety, and precision are the focus. About the assignment In this role, you will be responsible for internal transport and material handling within the facility. The work tasks are broad and combine practical forklift work with administrative tasks. Your main responsibilities will be: Planning and execution of internal transport and material movements Transport orders and preparation of delivery Reception and handling of hazardous and environmentally hazardous goods Collection, storage, and dispatch of hazardous and environmentally hazardous waste Escorting of vehicles within the facility Booking of transports and invoice entry Goods registration and warehouse movements in business systems Material registration and associated administration Support in environmental-related matters as environmental contact person The work is carried out within nuclear operations, which means high standards are set for safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Radiological medical examination is part of the process. About you We are looking for someone with solid experience in forklift operation and who is motivated to work in a structured and safe manner. You are accustomed to following instructions and processes while taking personal responsibility for work being performed efficiently and with high quality. Requirements Forklift certification and authorization for: A2-A4, B1-B4, D1 Documented experience with powered pedestrian pallet trucks, counterbalance forklifts, and tow trucks Traverse training and experience with traverse operation At least two years of current experience with counterbalance forklifts ADR 1.3 training Knowledge of chemical handling and hazardous goods including gas Very good Swedish skills, both spoken and written Basic knowledge of English Good computer proficiency and experience with the Office suite Experience with SAP is a merit Personal qualities To thrive and succeed in this role, you are a safety- and quality-conscious person who works in a structured and thorough manner.
