Your Assignment As an Operations Technician with us, you will work with operation, optimization, and development of our production facilities, distribution networks, and hydropower systems. You will support operation and maintenance within our heat and power production and work both with daily operations and long-term business development. You will become an important part of our production organization. You will contribute to creating a safe, efficient, and sustainable operation. The focus is on working preventively – you will participate in monitoring, improvements, and development of our facilities, networks, and working methods. At the same time, you need to understand daily operations and be able to support in acute situations, such as disruptions or other operational needs. We have approximately 35 employees within heat and power production, where we are responsible for production, distribution, and operational support. Within production, just over 20 people work, divided between operations and maintenance. Here you will find coordinators and operations technicians who work both shifts and daytime hours. The position is primarily daytime with on-call duty, belongs to the operations department, and you report to the Production Manager. Key Responsibilities Support operations, maintenance, and distribution with technical expertise and a holistic perspective Participate in operation of boilers and other production facilities as needed – be a flexible resource during changing operational conditions Work with operational monitoring and contribute to making production more efficient Participate in investigations, root cause analyses, and follow-ups, and contribute improvement suggestions Assist in planning and coordination of operation and maintenance activities Contribute to development of procedures, instructions, and ensure and update technical documentation and operation-related information Strengthen collaboration between operations, maintenance, distribution, projects, and other support functions We Are Looking for Someone Who Has/Can Operations Technician education at least at upper secondary school level, preferably with a focus on process, energy, or equivalent experience that the employer deems equivalent Good technical understanding of production facilities and networks Experience with operation, maintenance, and process industry Interest and/or experience with hydropower, power generation, and/or energy systems Good computer skills (Office) and experience with digital systems (such as work order, operations, or customer systems) Fluency in Swedish, both spoken and written Class B driver's license for manual transmission It Is Meritorious If You Have Boiler operator certification Experience from the energy industry Experience with shift-based operations or control center work Knowledge of hydropower facilities and their operation Experience with improvement work or technical development in an operations environment Your Personal Qualities To be successful in this role, you are a confident, responsible, engaged, and unpretentious team player with great interest in technology and problem-solving ability You are driven, flexible, and have an open approach to change You have good social and communication skills to create and maintain good relationships both internally and externally We Offer, Among Other Things A meaningful assignment in a societally important and developing industry that makes a difference for many people, the climate, and future energy supply A flexible role with significant personal responsibility and insight into the entire value chain of the business A medium-sized company where the span between decision and action is short A workplace and company that is valued by both employees and customers As we work toward a more equal energy industry, we especially encourage underrepresented groups to apply.
