Svenska Trappsteg is seeking a self-motivated employee for the Stockholm area. Svenska Trappsteg is the leading company for staircase renovation using solid oak and 3-strip materials. We have been in business for approximately nineteen years and have completed approximately 19,000 staircase renovations. We operate in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Uppsala, and Scania. This position is based in the Stockholm area and surrounding region. We are a small company with friendly colleagues. Our work tasks typically include: - Renovating staircases, i.e., installing oak steps - Installing treads - Painting staircases - Replacing handrails - Reducing squeaking - Closing off staircases Other work tasks also occur, such as flooring installation and other carpentry/woodworking projects. Requirements: You should be experienced in handling common tools such as mitre saws, multi-cutters, and other tools. Painting experience is an advantage. We offer good working hours. You will work with a colleague until you are able to work independently. You should enjoy working on your own. A VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE IS REQUIRED. You must have access to a secure parking space at your home for the work vehicle. It is an advantage if you do not live far from our warehouse, which is located in Täby. It is beneficial if you live north of the city, such as in the areas of Täby, Vallentuna, Sollentuna, Åkersberga, Hässelby, Spånga, and surrounding regions, since our warehouse is in Täby and it is easier to get there in the morning.
