Are you a recent graduate in logistics or engineering looking to kickstart your career in transport planning? Do you thrive in a coordinating role where you can combine structure, problem-solving, and multiple points of contact? We are now seeking a Transport Planner for train operations for our client in Solna. In this role, you will be an important part of the transport flow, working to plan and optimize transports from suppliers to terminals and further into the operation. You will, among other things: Plan and book transports in a cost- and time-efficient manner. Optimize load factors, delivery times, and vehicle resources. Monitor key metrics and act on deviations in quality and cost. Have daily contact with transporters, terminals, and suppliers. Work closely with internal functions such as material flow and procurement. This is a valuable opportunity for you who are at the beginning of your career and want to develop within logistics, transport planning, and supply chain. You will quickly gain your own responsibilities and many points of contact in an operation where planning and problem-solving are in focus. The position is full-time and starts as soon as we find the right person. You will initially be offered a trial employment for 6 months, with the possibility of extension and potentially a permanent position with the client in the future. Working hours vary between 05:30–17:00 Monday–Friday, and Sunday work may occur. You will be employed by StudentConsulting and work as a consultant for our client in Solna. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR We are looking for someone who: Is a recent graduate in logistics, supply chain, engineering education, or similar. Has good skills in Excel. Has very good skills in Swedish and English. Is structured, thorough, and solution-oriented. Enjoys collaboration and having multiple points of contact.
