Transport Planner – Solna

Are you a recent graduate in logistics or engineering looking to launch your career in transport planning? We are now recruiting a Transport Planner in rail operations for our client in Solna. In this role, you will be a key part of the transport flow, working to plan and optimize transports from suppliers to terminals and further into operations. You will, among other things: Plan and book transports in a cost- and time-efficient manner. Optimize load factors, delivery times, and vehicle resources. Monitor key performance indicators and respond to deviations in quality and cost. Have daily contact with transport providers, terminals, and suppliers. Work closely with internal functions such as material flow and procurement. This is an excellent opportunity for you who are early in your career and want to develop within logistics, transport planning, and supply chain. You will quickly gain your own responsibility and have many stakeholder interactions in an organization where planning and problem-solving are central. The position is full-time and starts as soon as we find the right person. You will initially be offered a 6-month trial employment, with the possibility of extension and potentially a direct employment with the client in the long term. Working hours vary between 05:30–17:00 Monday–Friday, and Sunday work occurs. You will be employed by StudentConsulting and work as a consultant for our client in Solna. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR We are seeking someone who: Is a recent graduate in logistics, supply chain, engineering, or similar field. Has excellent Excel skills. Has very good command of Swedish and English. Is organized, thorough, and solution-oriented. Enjoys collaboration and multiple stakeholder interactions.
