Job Information Professionals Nord is seeking, in collaboration with a leading player in recycling, a Transport Planner. The assignment is long-term and initially you will be employed by Professionals Nord and work as a consultant for the client. There is a good chance that you could become directly employed over time, provided all parties are satisfied with the collaboration. This recruitment process is handled by Professionals Nord and questions regarding the position should be sent to [email protected] Responsibilities As a transport planner, you are responsible for the operational management of transports in the region and ensure that work orders are assigned to the right resources. You follow up on assignments, optimize routes and resources, and have daily contact with drivers. The role also includes basic invoicing support and contributing to the team's collaboration and development. Plan and coordinate transport assignments Assign work orders to the right resources Optimize routes and resource utilization Follow up on completed work orders and handle simple invoicing matters Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive work environment We Are Looking for Someone Who: Has a high school education Holds a class B driver's license Has good computer skills and can handle various systems Mastery of Swedish in speech and writing It is Advantageous if You Have Experience With: The recycling industry or hazardous waste Logistics planning and resource optimization Telephone support and customer contact We believe your personal qualities are crucial to how well you will thrive in the role.
