Martin & Servera Logistik is the logistics hub for most of Martin & Servera Group's volumes. From four warehouses in Umeå, Enköping, Norrköping, and Halmstad, thousands of deliveries flow every day to customers throughout Sweden. Your tasks Your role involves working together with others in the transportation function to optimize our deliveries in the Greater Stockholm area. You seek cost-effective solutions through efficient route planning. You develop routes for how our trucks should operate both in the short and long term, taking into account changes in our customer structure. To succeed with this, you have frequent contact with other departments, both internally and externally. A central part of your work is also coordinating drivers before loading, especially when capacity on certain routes is insufficient. The work is largely operational, in close collaboration with your colleagues. You have daily dialogue with sales representatives, customers, and transport operators where quick action is often required. What are we looking for in you? Your most important personal quality is a strong drive to continuously develop, optimize, and question current solutions so we constantly improve. We see that you enjoy working in a process-oriented manner and have both talent and experience working with various programs and IT systems. You are analytical and have an eye for detail, which helps you identify improvement opportunities. You are a meticulous person who enjoys order and organization. The ability to take your own initiative, make quick decisions, and be solution-oriented is important in the role of transportation planner. Collaboration is important to you and you have very good communication skills. To succeed in this role, we believe you have: - Logistics or transportation education, alternatively relevant work experience - Good computer skills where previous work in transportation management systems (TMS) and Excel are highly desirable - Ability to read and understand written information and instructions in Swedish If you have experience in transportation planning or equivalent work, and geographic knowledge of the region, we also see that as highly desirable. Your workplace You become part of the transportation department where you are surrounded by five great colleagues. At our facility in Västberga, we have approximately 75 employees in total, and we are in daily contact with, for example, transport companies that load and unload.
