About the Position
Nordiska Bemanningsgruppen is now seeking a structured and responsible Transport Planner for a facility in Jordbro. In this role, you will have overall responsibility for planning, leading, and coordinating daily transport operations.
You will be an important part of the daily workflow and ensure that the right driver and transport are scheduled for goods that have been picked and packed for wholesalers, retailers, and other customers.
What the Role Involves
As a Transport Planner, you are responsible for daily planning and coordination of transports and drivers. You work closely with the operation and ensure that transports are planned and executed in an efficient and structured manner.
Your responsibilities include:
* Plan and allocate daily transports and routes
* Lead and coordinate drivers in daily operations
* Ensure that the correct goods are delivered to the right customer, wholesaler, or retailer
* Plan transports based on picked and packed orders
* Handle changes and resolve any problems that arise during the day
* Maintain ongoing contact with drivers and internal departments
* Ensure that the transport flow functions efficiently from warehouse to recipient
* Follow up on transports and contribute to developing and optimizing transport planning
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is structured, solution-oriented, and comfortable in a role where the pace can vary and you need to be able to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
We would like you to have:
* Experience in transport planning, traffic management, or similar tasks
* Experience from transport, logistics, or warehouse operations
* Strong planning and organizational skills
* Ability to quickly handle changes and find solutions
* Good communication skills
* Good computer skills and ability to quickly learn new systems
* Swedish language skills, both written and spoken
Experience working with drivers and daily transport management is a plus.
