Your Responsibilities
As a Transport Planner, you are a key person in planning and route-optimizing transports for your geography, handling both hazardous and non-hazardous waste. You ensure that resources are used efficiently and conduct ongoing capacity assessments as conditions change rapidly. You have an important role with many different contact points both internally and externally. The position also includes other administrative tasks as you will support and be involved in various parts of the operations, such as:
Acting as backup to our customer service
Handling incoming customer assignments
Following up and confirming completed assignments and documentation
Administering discrepancies in received deliveries
Some scale administration and order reception
Archiving and inventory management

Fixed-term employment starting in mid-August through year-end. After that, there is a possibility for extension.
Scope: 100%
Working hours: Monday-Friday 7-16 with flexible hours
Work location: Vetlanda
Who Are You?
We are looking for someone who is an unpretentious team player with a drive to support and facilitate operations. You contribute with a holistic perspective and structure to the group, while remaining flexible and adapting your work to operational needs. Your communication skills and willingness to collaborate, combined with being organized and clear, make you an important link in the team and contribute to a positive work environment.
To be relevant for the position, we see that you have fluent knowledge of Swedish and basic knowledge of English both spoken and written, hold a B-class driver's license, and have good computer skills. We consider it a merit if you have previous experience in transport planning within the waste and transport industry, preferably within the environmental and recycling sector.
