As Transport Manager at MTAB LIVE, you're responsible for planning, staffing, and following up on transports, from vehicles and drivers to customer contact and external transport resources. About the Position This position is a direct hire, which means the recruitment process takes place through Bravura and you will be employed directly by MTAB LIVE. About the Company MTAB LIVE is a logistics company specializing in transport for the live events industry. The company offers transport, warehousing, and freight forwarding for tours, concerts, events, trade shows, and cultural and TV productions in Sweden and Europe. Assignments include scenography, sound, lighting, decor, costumes, and other production equipment. The business operates in an industry where every delivery is critical to a production's success. This demands high standards for planning, flexibility, and the ability to quickly find solutions when circumstances change. MTAB LIVE was founded by people with hands-on production experience, which has shaped the company's approach and culture. There is genuine understanding of the fast pace, quick decisions, and situations that arise when a production is in full swing. No two days are the same here, but the goal is always the same—to keep the production running. At the office in Almnäs, a small team works with short decision-making paths, broad roles, and significant freedom with responsibility. You'll have an operational day working closely with customers, drivers, and the business. Responsibilities As Transport Manager, you're responsible for planning, staffing, and following up on transports with a focus on tour operations. The role combines transport management with customer communication, resource planning, procurement, and administration. You'll plan transport setups, primarily in Sweden but also Europe, ensure the right vehicles and drivers are in place, and follow up on loading, unloading, and schedules according to plan. An important part of the work is staying one step ahead by anticipating needs, managing changes, and communicating clearly with both customers and drivers. The role also involves responsibility for procuring transport capacity as needed, negotiating prices and terms with subcontractors, and building a network of external drivers and resources that can support operations during high-demand periods. Beyond this, you work with administration related to transport operations, regulations on driving and rest times, and international matters such as customs handling, ATA Carnet, ferries, and permits. Examples of responsibilities: Plan and coordinate transports and tours Staff assignments with drivers, vehicles, and external resources Maintain ongoing dialogue with customers, drivers, and suppliers Follow up on assignments and manage changes in transport flow Procure transport capacity and negotiate with subcontractors Build and develop a network of external transport resources Ensure compliance with driving and rest time regulations and other transport rules Handle transport administration and international transport matters Education, Experience, and Personal Qualities Requirements: Experience in transport planning where you've planned both vehicles and drivers Practical knowledge of driving and rest time regulations Good computer and system skills and experience with administrative transport-related systems Strong proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written Class B driver's license Merits: Experience procuring transport capacity Experience in international traffic with customs, ferries, and permits Experience from events, tours, trade shows, or other live productions Class C or CE driver's license We're looking for someone who is proactive, organized, and thrives in a role where planning must be combined with quick problem-solving.
