About the Company World Courier offers complete logistics solutions primarily to companies in the pharmaceutical industry and specializes in temperature-controlled and time-sensitive transports. Their vision is to improve global health and therefore implements world-class logistics processes by having experienced personnel, global offices around the world, and broad market expertise. They also ensure optimal handling, transport, and delivery of vital health products. World Courier was founded in 1969 in Stamford, Connecticut (USA). In April 2012, World Courier was acquired by AmerisourceBergen, now Cencora, one of the world's largest service companies for the pharmaceutical industry, and today has offices in over 50 different countries. At the Swedish office in Arlandastad, 36 people currently work in a young environment characterized by the smaller company's family spirit as well as the global group's international contacts and dynamic atmosphere. Responsibilities As a transport coordinator, you will be part of a team of 14 people. In the role, you will receive thorough training and work closely with others on your team during your onboarding period. The responsibilities include receiving calls and emails from customers regarding transport bookings. You then plan and execute a transport service where parameters such as route, transport method, and packaging materials are customized according to the customer's wishes and the product's specifications. You will also help customers with customs documents and communicate with the freight carrier who then collects the shipment. The role also includes responsibility for making flight bookings, customs clearance, marking, and preparing packaging materials as well as tracking the transport. The position is full-time and working hours vary between 08:00-18:00, Monday to Friday. Regular working hours are 08:00-16:30 but every ninth week you work 09:30-18:00. The frequency of the week you work 09:30-18:00 may change and is based on the number of people employed in the department. Education, Experience, and Personal Qualities • Completed upper secondary education • 1-3 years of experience in customer service toward business customers • Fluent in spoken and written Swedish and English • Good computer skills and strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite • Class B driver's license and access to your own car • Advantageous with experience working in freight forwarding and transport • Advantageous with knowledge of Finnish In this recruitment process, we place greater emphasis on personal qualities than previous work experience.
