About the Position
We are seeking a proactive and solution-oriented transport coordinator for our client's logistics team. The client is a major player in the automotive industry. The position is located at the client's headquarters in Gothenburg. In this role, you will serve as an important link between transporters and recipients, ensuring that goods are delivered to the right place, at the right time, and with the highest possible service level. As the central contact person for daily transport operations, you will coordinate transports across different transport modes, manage operational issues, communicate proactively with relevant parties, and ensure smooth and efficient logistics flows.
Your Responsibilities
Your duties will include:
Identify and act on transport discrepancies and inform recipients of any disruptions, adjusting transport plans as needed
Organize express and return transports
Secure and book vessel capacity
Coordinate import container deliveries where relevant
Support terminal and cross-dock operations and contribute to the implementation of new transport structures, systems, and process improvements
You will also work closely with internal teams and external partners to continuously improve operational efficiency and eliminate unnecessary work and waste in processes.

Qualifications:
Education in logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
At least 3 years of experience in similar work
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Scope and Start Date
